the only good chicane is no chicane, that rule goes for 99% of all chicanes in modern motorsport, the Buststop chicane at Francorchamps however was quite the opposite, it had a tricky entry (after a long full gas straight with the flat out (if you had the balls) Blanchimont - corner of all corners - in it) & a difficult exit making it quite interesting & entertaining for both drivers & spectactors
as so much however, it was remodeled in 2007 & lost its old skool appeal
