Piquet’s years at Lotus were far from good, never able to score a win, not even a podium in his 2nd year, partially due to the lack of power from the Judd V8
that only happened in his debut full season in 1979, after his 2 years at Lotus he switched to the Benetton team, scoring 3 wins before retiring in 1991
