Scott Russell saw his dream come true when he was asked to replace Kevin Schwantz during the 1995 season at Lucky Strike Suzuki
he would stay on for 2 seasons, scoring a podium in 1996, but more results didn’t come, partly due to a non competitive RGV500
in 1997 he returned to his beloved superbike racing, where he had been so successful before
