Mat Mladin’s Cagiva C593, 1993 FIM Motorcycle World Championship
Mladin graduated to the Grand Prix scene after winning the ‘92 Australian superbike championship (following the footsteps of Mick Doohan who did the same in ‘88/’89)
his Grand Prix career was brief however, going back to Australia the next year & making his final move to the US in 1996 where he raced in AMA Superbike winning a record 7 titles (‘99, ‘00, ‘01, ‘03, ‘04, ‘05 & ‘09)
Mladin also won 3 Daytona 200’s (‘00, ‘01 & ‘04)
he retired in 2009 after winning his last title at the age of 37
